Standing behind the camera and waiting for an exposure, I clear my mind of everything but the place where I am at that very moment. There is no past or future, just plain and raw existence. Time is compressed in my breath; I am the wind and the calm, the light and the night, the cold and heat, the rain and snow, the moonlight and the sun, I am all in one.
